client library fails to check if avahi already is running

Description

Since 25f352679488de6f22486bd068ea3cd448e8f1ac avahi just tries to system activate the daemon instead of checking it's actually running. This doesn't work correctly if there is no services fiile around (it'll just fail and the client thinks it needs to wait for the daemon to start)

Fixed now in git, but differentl, based on Ping() which simplifies things greatly.
